This site is run by Kanak Prabhakar from Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, India. By using it you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose. How your personal data is handled is explained separately in the privacy notice.
Using the site
- The videos, courses and certificates here are free.
- Please don't try to break, overload or get around the site's limits (for example, by scripting certificate requests). Requests are rate-limited, and abusive traffic is blocked.
- Videos are played from YouTube, so YouTube's own terms apply while you watch them.
Certificates
- Certificates are only for people aged 18 or older.
- Request a certificate only in your own real name, and only for a video or course you actually watched on this site.
- A certificate shows that you watched that content here. It is not a degree, a diploma or a qualification from a university or a government body.
- Each certificate is digitally signed. If its name, video or date is changed, it will fail the check on the verify page.
- I may refuse to issue certificates where the rules above are being broken.
Ratings and comments
Ratings and comments are saved only in your own browser. Nobody else can see them, and you can delete them at any time from the privacy page.
Code, name and logo
The site's source code is open under the MIT licence on GitHub. The names "Kanak Prabhakar" and "Cooding with Kanak" and the KP logo identify me: please don't use them in a way that suggests I made or approved something I didn't.
Links to other sites
This site links to other sites, such as YouTube, GitHub and the VS Code Marketplace. I don't control them, and their own terms and privacy policies apply there.
No guarantees
I teach and build carefully, but the content is provided as it is, for learning. Code from the videos may contain mistakes, so test it before you rely on it. The site may change, pause or stop at any time. To the extent the law allows, I am not responsible for losses that come from using the site or its content.
Changes and law
If these terms change, the new date appears at the top of this page. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
